Ducati means to motorcyclists what Porsche means to motorists. Ducati is a brand that has become famous not for millions of copies, but for triumphant victories in the world superbike championships. Ducati motorcycles are manufactured by an Italian company located in the city of Bologna. Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. is part of the German automaker Audi AG. Having started its history in 1926 as a manufacturer of radio equipment, by the beginning of the noughties Ducati had grown into one of the leaders among motorcycle manufacturers, which boasts a huge number of awards won at the most prestigious competitions.
